Texas poised to crack down on wasted college credits, offering better support to transfer students

Transferring colleges comes with an extra layer of challenge, determining which credits transfer and what requirements they fulfill.  In Texas it is estimated that students spend $60 million annually on credits that end up not counting towards a major.  The Texas State Legislature is taking up the issue in the interest of reducing time and money that students pay on wasted credit.  This article from the Dallas News frames the issue and how Texas is working to solve it.
