Drew Alums Making an Impact in Trenton

Approximately 80-85% of jobs are filled via networking, and career mentoring enhances college GPA, job satisfaction, and mobility, among other things. In most instances, it’s up to you to find a mentor. And Drew alums would be a great place to start! Our graduates leave equipped to make a difference.

Our alumni are doing INCREDIBLE work out there in the real world and making a huge impact. And it’s not just me saying that. Look no further than InsiderNJ, one of the most prominent political publications in New Jersey. This year, several alums have been recognized by Insider as some of the most influential people in New Jersey politics and policy. Kevin Hagan (C’98) is ranked 30 on the 2019 Insider 100: Power publication. Jennifer Velez (C’87) and Alison Accetola (C’99) are both included on New Jersey State Senator Loretta Weinberg’s Powerful Women of New Jersey list.

If this doesn’t demonstrate how the transferable skills you develop here at Drew via Launch WILL translate into a successful and rewarding career, and inspire you to connect with an alum and seek out a mentor in your field, I don’t know what will!
