Want to Help Children Impacted by Trauma?

Camp Hope New Jersey is seeking energetic and compassionate volunteer camp counselors! June 22–26 at beautiful Fairview Lakes in Sussex County. Check out the flyer and video below. Drew students have participated as counselors in previous summers and have loved this super fun, meaningful experience.

Camp HOPE New Jersey, a program of Jersey Battered Women’s Service (JBWS), helps children who have been impacted by trauma, such as domestic violence, find a pathway to HOPE and get their childhood back. Part of its success is through the participation of fantastic volunteer counselors. Camp HOPE Counselors serve as cheerleaders for youth and aid in the goal to end the cycle of violence and change the destinies of youth exposed to trauma. One week can have an unbelievable impact on a child’s life in regards to self-esteem, emotional stability, and confidence.
