Marketing/Multi-Media Intern at Spring Street Development Corporation

Spring Street CDC, a local non-profit dedicated to improving the quality of life for Morris County families by addressing economic, educational and social needs while preserving the cultural and ethnic diversity of the area, is seeking a detail-oriented, creative, and self-motivated college student interested in marketing, audio/video production and event planning/coordination. This exciting opportunity is a hands-on experience reaching all aspects of the marketing and social media arm of the organization. The position will be responsible for any and all aspects of video production and editing. This will include, but not limited to, interviewing volunteers and guests, recording events and fundraising opportunities, post-production review and editing, and posting to all social media sites, such as YouTube, Facebook, and our website. Summer Teaching Fellows will work 30 hours/week from June 9 thru mid-August 2020 and receive a $3,000 stipend and two monthly MetroCards. Comfort Zone Camp Volunteer Training Program

Comfort Zone Camp is the nation’s largest bereavement camp headquartered in Richmond, Virginia. Since 1999 it has helped over 20,000 children, all at no cost. Volunteer opportunities include: nurses, grief therapists, buddy mentors, group support, and general camp support. Each program requires the help of over 90-100 volunteers. Summer and Fall Internships with the Morris County Democratic Committee

The Morris County Democratic Committee is looking for interns for the summer and fall to help run several campaigns throughout the county. Interns will canvass, phone bank, draft emails and speeches for local Democratic candidates. They will also help to plan and organize fundraising events, where they can meet elected Democratic officials from all over the state. Morris will be home to two Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) targeted Congressional races with national implications, and both Congressional campaigns will be working very closely with our interns. This is a great opportunity to get to know operatives and elected officials at all levels of New Jersey Democratic politics.
