The Newark Museum of Art Paid Summer Internship Program – Newark, NJ

The Newark Museum of Art Internship Program is designed to provide interns with an overview of the Museum industry at large and The Newark Museum of Art specifically, as well as the Museums’ partnership with the City of Newark. During the summer a limited number of internships are awarded to students who are entering their second year of college.  In addition to working within a museum department, students take part in a more expanded orientation process, learning in-depth about museum careers, as well as other art, science and education opportunities at institutions in the city of Newark and throughout the state.  Internship dates: June 15, 2020 – August 7, 2020.   Application deadline: March 27, 2020

 Writopia Lab – Filmmaking Internship – NYC

Writopia Lab’s mission is to foster joy, literacy, and critical thinking in children and teens from all backgrounds through creative writing. They look for interns who are supportive, enthusiastic, and willing to learn how to be thoughtful editors and guides for young writers. Applicants should have a strong background in English, Literature, Creative Writing, or Education. Completed degrees are NOT required. Our interns are half teaching assistants, half camp counselors, who are able to serve as role models to our young writers while cultivating their love for writing and confidence. Filmmaking interns help with every step of the production process; interns will assist with guiding students through screenwriting and visual storytelling, supervise shoots, and provide editing support for films written and produced by our talented young filmmakers, ages 6 to 18. WABC-TV, Walt Disney Television – Investigative Internship, Summer 2020 – NYC

The Investigative internship will provide participants the opportunity to work alongside the award-winning investigative team at WABC-TV, the flagship Disney/ABC – owned television station in New York. WABC is the most-watched television station in the New York Television market and the United States and leads the market in station websites and social media engagement. Looking for an intern (Junior or Senior) interested in all aspects of investigative journalism from researching, writing, shooting and editing longer form stories that explore public wrong-doing and social issues.

WABC-TV, Walt Disney Television – ABC News Media Relations/Publicity Internship – Summer 2020 – NYC

ABC News Media Relations team is responsible for the overall communications and media relations strategy for ABC News including its television broadcasts “World News Tonight with David Muir,” “Good Morning America,” “Nightline,” “This Week with George Stephanopoulos,” “20/20,” and other platforms including ABCNews.com, ABC Audio, and the network’s affiliate news service ABC NewsOne. The team is responsible for the day-to-day publicity efforts and the long-term communications strategy for ABC’s broadcasts, anchors, and correspondents. As the team’s intern, you will provide needed assistance in a variety of publicity and media relations efforts, working closely with the media relations coordinator and publicity directors of ABC News shows.  Juniors, Seniors and recent grads are eligible.

ABC Localish develops and produces compelling digital and TV programming that highlights the good happening in cities across America. Good food. Good people. Good living. We tell locally-sourced stories that transcend city limits. We have created a variety of original series for ABC television stations and ABC’s national website including “More in Common,” “Secretly Awesome,” “Bite Size,” “Worth the Wait,” “Glam Lab,” and “City Cycle.” In this internship you will support the teams developing original content for ABC Localish’s digital and television distribution platforms. This internship provides a hands-on experience organizing and creating compelling videos that reach national audiences. You will collaborate with our teams of producers, videographers, and editors to connect ABC Localish with new viewers and followers across the country
