The Administrative Law Division (ALD) is seeking highly motivated graduate students who wish to gain professional experience in administrative law within an international organization. This three to six-month internship offers a practical educational experience and provides interns with the opportunity to work in a multicultural, intergovernmental organization.

Interns perform tasks under the supervision of a Legal Officer from either the Appeals and Accountability Section or the Critical Incident Response Service. Interns assist in preparing advice on disciplinary matters, conducting legal research, and analyzing issues arising from the application of the Staff Regulations and Rules. Interns also assist counsel to prepare written and oral submissions in proceedings before the United Nations Dispute Tribunal. They assist to draft various legal documents and communications, support information and knowledge management practices, and perform other duties as required.

Entertainment Legal Internship, FilmNation Entertainment

FilmNation Entertainment, an independent entertainment company focused on the sales representation of international film rights, as well as the development, production, and financing of feature films, television series and podcasts, is seeking legal interns for a Spring 2020 internship.

This internship experience is intended to advance and expand interns’ education by providing them with training in drafting, problem solving, negotiation and legal research and analysis. Under the supervision of the Business & Legal Affairs team, interns will be exposed to various facets of international, entertainment and intellectual property law, will undertake a semester long research project, and will participate in regular seminars with the FilmNation staff.
