New Jersey Dance Theatre Ensemble (NJDTE), a renowned pre-professional dance company, is seeking a Film, Photography & Digital Intern, a Development Intern and a Marketing & Communications Intern for their facility in downtown Summit, NJ. With the Ensemble’s expanded programming and events for the 2019-2020 season, an internship with NJDTE is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience during a critical time of growth for a non-profit arts organization. The Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum is an American military and maritime history museum in New York City with a collection of museum ships. Their College Internship Program is offering Marketing & Promotions and Public Relations internships for juniors and seniors. Interns are offered a stipend and the minimum work requirement for an internship depends on the position and can range from 15 to 30 hours per week.

El Museo del Barrio – Summer 2020 Internships – NYC

New York’s leading Latino cultural institution, celebrates the artistic landscape of Latino, Caribbean, and Latin American cultures through film, literary, visual and performing arts series, cultural celebrations, and educational programs. They are looking for a Communications, a Social Media, a Development and a Public Programs Intern. Due to its relatively small size, El Museo del Barrio is able to provide Interns with rewarding, valuable, hands-on learning experiences that enable them to directly impact and shape programming, meet and interact with new people, and learn about El Museo’s collection and Puerto Rican, Caribbean, and Latin American art and culture. Through its Internship program, El Museo del Barrio creates platforms for emerging museum professionals and contributes to diversifying the museum field. SUMMER: First week of June to last week of August. Applications are due the end of April 2020.

Internships with UAA are designed as an educational program for individuals who are interested in pursuing a career in talent representation. Interns work closely with staff to gain relevant experience and educational training in a real world environment. Interns will also attend a weekly class designed to develop an understanding our business from a variety of perspectives. They are looking to fill a 3 day per week, unpaid position. TAPinto Newark – Paid Internship – Newark, NJ

TAPinto Newark, an independently owned, award-winning news website that is part of the TAPinto network, has an opening for a one-year, paid, early career reporting internship in an underserved urban media market. This internship is designed for a reporter with at least two years of experience who is looking to move up from a small town beat to cover a larger urban beat. The reporter is expected to have experience covering municipal government, including city/town council meetings, planning/zoning board meetings and school board meetings. You will be expected to spend your days in the city on the prowl for stories that help readers beter understand Newark. While you should be seasoned enough to discern the wheat from the chaff, you will also be guided by an experienced editor who has been developing young reporters for more than three decades. Deadline is March 13.
