Forbes Paid Summer 2020 Editorial Internship – Jersey City, NJ

Forbes selects student reporters to join the Forbes newsroom as Editorial Interns. These interns write posts for Forbes.com. Interns are assigned to —Business, Education, Innovation, Lifestyle, Money, etc.—and work closely with their corresponding editor throughout the summer. They will receive support and mentorship to meet professional goals, hone writing and storytelling skills. These internships funnel to careers within journalism. Many of these interns have transitioned to full-time roles within the Forbes newsroom. Paying $15.00 – $17.00 hourly. This internship is approximately 40 hours/week Monday-Friday.  Internships begin on or around June 1, 2020 and will last for 10-12 weeks. Application deadline is February 28, 2020.

Liberty Science Center – Communications Internship Summer 2020 – Jersey City, NJ

Liberty Science Centre is looking for a Communications Intern to report to the Manager of Public Relations. The intern will assist the Manager and Social Media Coordinator in developing and managing public relations, publications and other editorial and administrative duties. This is an excellent opportunity to gain real, hands-on experience in a metropolitan communications department.

The Shakespeare Theater of NJ – The Intern Company – Theater internships Summer 2020

The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey’s Intern Company is designed for early-career professionals interested in specific non-acting areas. Interns are in residence in one department throughout the summer under the guidance of The Shakespeare Theatre’s professional staff.  Internships offer in-depth practical training and provide the opportunity to gain hands-on experience at a professional level while obtaining connections with respected artists, administrators, technicians, and educators.  By participating in The Shakespeare Theatre’s Intern Company, one can begin forging professional alliances helpful to one’s theatre career.  Some prior experience in the field of interest is required for most internships. May 25 – August 3, 2020.  Application deadline is April 24, 2020.
