New UN Gender Social Norm Index Results Described As Shocking

The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) has just released the findings of a new gender social norm index and the results have been described as shocking.  According to the data, 9 out of 10 people across 75 countries, and accounting for 80% of the world population, hold at least one bias towards women in relation to politics, economics, education, violence or reproductive rights.  This article from The Guardian goes into the details of the report.
