Bilingual Domestic Violence Counselor
180 Turning Lives Around is currently seeking a part-time Bilingual Domestic Violence Counselor for the Family Justice Center located in the Superior Court in Freehold. This position will provide psycho-educational supportive counseling to domestic violence survivors, conduct need assessment, crisis intervention, advocacy, and referrals,
Bachelor’s degree in social work or a related field required. Ideal candidate will possess basic knowledge of domestic violence, sexual violence, human trafficking, and trauma.
Must be Bilingual Spanish.
Successful completion of domestic violence training or equivalent is required ( can be provided upon hire). Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, proficient in Microsoft office. (E-mail, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
This Part-Time position is 20 hours per week, may include one evening.

FULLY REMOTE – Educational & Therapeutical Urban Farming Internship
This is a work-experience/college credit internship and is unpaid. Please send a cover letter letting us know a little bit about you, as well as how many full weekdays you are available. Also, please include your possible start and end date.
What We Do
We design and build Outdoor Educational Wonderlands for schools, community centers, youth detention centers, special needs organizations, elder care and group residences. Wonderlands include gardens, greenhouses, chicken coops, composting systems, and so much more.
A traditional build company will leave you with only a structure. To maximize impact, we customize thoughtful programs that pair our structures with open garden hours, professional development for teachers, staff training, lesson plans, garden plans, workshops, and maintenance.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Assist in urban farming with youth and adults in all 5 boroughs.
- Learn to maintain gardens (hydroponics, aquaponics, soil), chicken coops, worm compost bins, and other urban farming systems
