Heart to Heart Home Care, New Jersey’s leading home care agencies is looking for a full time Recruiter Assistant too help in our growing company in our Paterson, Hackensack and East Orange Office.

The right candidate will have the following skills:

Ability to work with many moving parts and follow directions
Must have working knowledge of computers, including Microsoft Office, Work and Excel
Job responsibilities and duties include:

Screen and evaluate applicants for staffing placement depending on the immediate needs.
Assist in the completion of applicant packets, file and credentials paperwork.
Meet deadlines and staffing needs of contacts and clients.
Work directly with clients to ensure quality candidates are hired.
Communicate and work with applicants throughout the entire hiring process
Assist in company recruitment events throughout NJ
Develop and network connections with various schools and programs to foster future candidates
Ensure all new hire paperwork is in compliance with company and state regulations prior to orientation.
Assist in facilitating weekly new hire orientations
Must be able to travel to various locations and different satellite offices to meet recruitment needs.

Intern – Internal Process Management

Job Summary

Assists department with various procurement functions with an emphasis on technology.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

·        Analyzes EDA spending activity based on dollar amounts for bid threshold assessments.

·        Conducts procurement and compliance benchmarking with similar State Authorities.

·        Conducts research relating to State Procurement.

·        Researches electronic bidding options for receipt of incoming proposals.

·        Researches new procurement bid systems/software.

·        Designs and updates departmental intranet (SharePoint).

·        Designs a “How to Procure with the EDA” brochure for dissemination to prospective vendors.

·        Promotes teamwork and communication to encourage an interactive, cooperative, collaborative, and customer focused work environment among division, EDA staff, and external customers.

·        Performs other duties and special projects, as assigned.

Required Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing; proficient in grammar, spelling and editing; and foster communications with business professionals and EDA staff

·        Ability to prioritize workload, must be highly organized, detail-oriented, handle various tasks simultaneously and work independently within limited time constrains with little or no supervision

  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality and deal effectively and diplomatically with business professionals and EDA staff
  • Demonstrates respectful behavior and promotes teamwork and communication to encourage an interactive, cooperative, collaborative and customer focused work environment among division, EDA staff and external customers.

·        Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn new software packages

Front Desk and Intake Intern

Job Description

  • Perform reception duties such as greeting visitors to the office and connecting them to appropriate staff
  • Assess documentation of visitors to determine eligibility of services
  • Schedule appointments for all programs depending on eligibility of client
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls
  • Assist staff with clerical and administrative duties
  • Display sensitivity to cultural and personality differences of refugee clients. Respect their beliefs and values.
  • Adhere to IRC policies, particularly those related to confidentiality and client privacy.
  • Communicate effectively in person and by telephone.
