This position is for a clinical research associate in the department of surgery at Morristown Medical Center. It is a 1-2 year paid position, starting in August 2020 designed as a gap year position for those who intend to go to medical school afterwards. Basic computer, Microsoft Excel, and statistics knowledge is required. Prior experience with Minitab and GraphPad Prism is preferred. This position will fit people who are motivated and enthusiastic about the medical field.

12 month Co-Op – US R&I Safety, Health and Environment at L’Oréal
The US Research and Innovation (R&I) Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) department provides direct support to and collaborates with all US based Research and Innovation departments so they can achieve their business objectives in a safe and environmentally friendly and sustainable manner. The group is seeking to add a Co-Op who, under direct supervision, performs basic and routine duties in a wide range of EHS disciplines to aid in maintaining compliance with Co-Opal EHS standards and, federal and state regulatory requirements. This position will supplement the existing EHS professionals in providing these services to business partners while receiving on the job experience and mentoring in the occupational safety, health and environmental protection fields. Research Assistant Position at New York Blood Center
The New York Blood Center is currently seeking candidates to investigate mechanisms of iron-altered hematopoiesis within the Iron Research Program of the Lindsley F. Kimball Research Institute, the research branch of the New York Blood Center. In particular, candidates will study the impact of iron overload and deficiency on the pathogenesis of human hematological diseases. The candidate will perform cutting-edge research that integrates human biology and hematology with novel therapies using innovative technologies and approaches including classic molecular, cellular, and biochemical techniques, as well as modern imaging techniques, sequencing and single cell analysis techniques, bioinformatics, and preclinical in vitro and in vivo models.
