Gallery Assistants are the Museum’s in-gallery customer-service team. They are responsible for answering visitor questions, promoting the Museum’s offerings, and ensuring that visitors understand and abide by the Museum’s visitor policies – all in a warm, welcoming and professional manner. Upon the Whitney’s reopening, Gallery Assistants will play an integral role in keeping our Museum community safe by ensuring visitors understand new policies like one-way systems, social distancing guidelines and face-covering requirements.

HarperCollins Managing Editorial Internship

Managing editorial/digital publishing services is responsible for quality control, scheduling, and problem solving for all print and digital books published by the Children’s division. This includes copy editing manuscripts and proofreading galleys and mechanicals through to the final PDF, as well as ebook quality assurance. We are also responsible for overseeing all aspects of the division’s metadata. This includes setting up and maintaining all book details and also overseeing and optimizing online descriptions and keywords for discoverability and SEO.
