HBA-NJ’s 2020 Annual WELL Conference, to be held over two virtual Zoom sessions to take place June 25 and July 2 –
Session I – June 25, 2020 at 6:00 pm
Lifting Our Voices – Importance of 2020 Elections, 2020 Census & Gender Equity. This panel will include a discussion on the importance of the 2020 election, exercising your right to vote, the 2020 Census, gender equity in politics, and finding your voice to effectuate change and empower women.
Session II – Thursday, July 2, 2020 at 6:00 pm
Blazing Trails – Succeeding and Staying on Top – This panel will include a frank and candid conversation from distinguished women in the legal profession who will discuss their path to becoming a lawyer, and will provide honest advice, tips, best practices and guidance on how to become a leader within the law, how to break through the glass ceiling, how to be your best advocate, obstacles you may face, dos and don’ts, and rising up despite ongoing gender inequities in the legal profession and community at large. A presentation on the importance of the 2020 Census also will be provided.
Attendees also will hear from leaders of the HBA-NJ, the Hispanic National Bar Association, and more! You will also learn about how to prepare yourself and your families in in an emergency and information on the National Women’s Law Center and how you can help advocate for women justice.
During the event, guests also will have an opportunity to win various raffle items from our supporting vendors!
