And The Winners Are…….!!

FilmBoot24 is a 24-hour filmmaking bootcamp where Drew students collaborate with film and media professionals, Orange and Newark High School students, and Drew faculty. Last weekend five teams of students from Orange HS, Newark Arts HS and Drew University worked VIRTUALLY on Zoom and other platforms with professional filmmaking mentors to make FIVE FILMS IN 24 HOURS.

Those films were then judged by industry professionals and screened before a live Zoom audience on Sunday, Nov. 15th.

Below are the results of that awards ceremony, along with links to all the films. Enjoy!!

Thank you to Sara C. Clarke, Bobby Brown, Maya Singletary and Jeremy Moss for being our judges!

Be sure to watch all the films! They are available also on our website. Congrats to all the filmmakers for an amazing virtual weekend of telling stories. Thank you to all our collaborators and to the students and staff at all the organizations that helped make this happen.
