All on-campus employment job postings must be made available on Handshake. Through this platform, students have access to a searchable database of every open job available on campus, providing up-to-the-minute information on what opportunities exist. For consistency, announcements of student employment job postings should link to the relevant Handshake page.

On-Campus Employment Showcase
The annual On-campus Employment showcase is an event typically held in the last week of each August that connects on-campus employers to students interested in on-campus employment opportunities. Each hiring department is allocated space at a table to promote their department and opportunities with students walking through to learn and discuss. This event is typically attended by more than 200 students each year.
“Meet the Department” Videos
“Meet the Department” videos are an excellent way to introduce your department and work to prospective student employees. While these videos are not meant to highlight individual job opportunities, they should highlight the work your department is currently conducting, introduce students to a few faculty or staff members they may work with, and encourage students to apply for any open positions. “Meet the Department” videos generally should not be longer than 3-4 minutes.
