This community is for those interested in pursuing careers in K-12 education. While you may think that education is limited to classroom teaching, there are a number of opportunities in the field that go beyond the K-12 classroom including: outdoor education (museums and other non-traditional educational sites), educational policy and research, recreational education (camp director, student activities director, etc), curriculum design, etc. In this career community you can learn about the BA/MAT concentration, connect with expert educators in the field, explore our Connect with Kids club, find resources for pursuing a career in education, and learn about education related opportunities at Drew University. In addition, this community serves to connect undergraduate students at Drew with graduate students in Drew’s two education programs: The Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) and the Master of Education (MEd).
