localTREC: Your World, Your Major, and You

With traditional travel on hold, the Center for Global Education invites you to journey – either physically, virtually, or imaginatively – on a “localTREC: Your World, Your Major, and You.” In this 1-credit, online course, which runs January 7-15, 2021 at no cost to students, you will record your explorations via photography, writing, sound, and other means, and then, in consultation with faculty experts, apply economic, environmental, psychological, historical, and other frameworks to develop projects that convey your newfound knowledge about your community with others.
All students should express their interest in participating by completing the Intent Form no later than Friday, November 13th. Click “Apply Now” to access the form. Upon completion of the Intent Form, seniors who have not yet fulfilled their off-campus requirement will be asked to confirm their participation at which time they will be registered for the course. If space is available, all other students will be notified after November 13th.
