Applications are now being accepted for the Drew Summer Science Institute (DSSI) for Summer 2021. DSSI is a program in which students perform research under the mentorship of a faculty member or RISE fellow. Students accepted into this 8-week competitive program (May 31-July 23, 2021) will receive a weekly stipend and housing and will be required to attend weekly DSSI meetings, present their research at a weekly meeting, and present at Day of Scholars 2022.
DSSI gives you the chance to pursue real-world scientific questions and provides opportunities to establish professional relationships with faculty and their collaborators at research universities and local industries. The Drew Summer Science Institute is open to students in Anthropology, Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, and Psychology, and it is aimed primarily at students who have completed their sophomore year.
