The Grant Development Coordinator is responsible for developing, writing, and packaging federal, state, and local government and privately funded grants. The individual will provide assistance to faculty and staff as they develop projects, including interpreting proposal requirements, proposal writing, budget development and preparation of ancillary documents. In addition, the individual will conduct regular searches for available funding to meet the strategic goals of CCM. The individual will serve on college-wide committees and participate in other department and college-wide activities as required.
Excellent written and verbal skills. Solid understanding of program development principles. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software package. Knowledge of grant submission and management software preferred.
Minimum of two years of experience in professional or technical writing required. Successful experience in grant writing for federal, state, and/or private funding organizations preferred.
Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree preferred.
