Interns will gain experience with data entry and basic development concepts in a non-profit setting, and will gain skills in Raiser’s Edge, NCR Counterpoint, and advanced skills in Word and Excel. They will also gain valuable exposure to non-profit donor development, including the concept of moves management.
The successful intern will be detail oriented and extremely accurate in data entry. They will be organized, and able to transition from task to task, as needed, in a fast-paced environment. The successful intern will exhibit an eagerness and ability to learn quickly, as well as the willingness to ask questions when they are uncertain. Professionalism in their appearance and demeanor and strict confidentiality is a must.
Successful completion of fundraising and/or non-profit development courses preferred. A basic knowledge of Word and Excel required. Familiarity with Raiser’s Edge is a plus, though not required.
