The NJ Department of Health is looking for an intern to assist with COVID-19 surveillance and how death records are capturing the cause of death. Incumbent will be responsible for identifying death records where coronavirus is not properly identified and contact the physician for clarification. Physicians will need to be guided through the correct process in amending the cause of death on the death certificate. The position will require incumbent to report to Trenton once a week and be able to work remote the other two days.
