Speech Therapist – Full Time, Part Time or PRN

Start the new year off with a fantastic opportunity! Join the growing multi-disciplinary rehab team at the area’s leading Skilled Nursing and Assisted Living Facilities in Mason City, IA. Make a real difference in the lives of your patients by helping them reach their full potentials. Dedicated caseloads will include a mix of Part A and Part B in-house patients.

We are seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for both evaluations and treatments. CFY’s are encouraged to apply as well. This can be a full time, part-time, or PRN opportunity. Create a position that will fit with you!

Requirements

The ideal candidate will be a passionate clinician with excellent clinical skills who is dedicated to the highest levels of evidence-based outcomes for those we have the honor of treating. The candidate:

· Will ideally have their Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC) though a CFY with a passion for working with the elderly will be considered

· Must have experience working with ventilators and tube feeding

· Must love the senior living population

· Must have a creative interdisciplinary approach to patient care.

Creative dementia possible care experience as well as Vital Stim and dysphagia certifications a plus! Experience using RehabOptima also a plus!

New to the LTC/SNF field or a newly graduated SLP? We have an incredible mentorship program (additional to the CFY) to help launch your career into this fastest growing field of healthcare.

Education: Graduate Degree from an accredited SLP program required. CCC-SLP or in progress CFY required.

Licensure: Licensed in the State of Iowa or in process of application, CPR certification
