The Program Coordinator I for Engaged Civic Learning reports to the Associate Chancellor for Civic Engagement. The Program Coordinator facilitates collaborations between the Office of Civic Engagement and a range of internal and external organizations, including academic departments, Student Affairs, government agencies, and area non-profits. The Program Coordinator enables Rutgers faculty, students, and staff to collaborate productively with external partners by making mutually agreeable arrangements for programs that enable engaged civic learning and student volunteerism. The Program Coordinator works with external partners to identify community challenges and opportunities, then works with faculty, staff, and students to create learning experiences consistent with those needs. The Program Coordinator supports individual students and student organizations engaging in service to Camden and the region. The Program Coordinator is responsible for training students for participation in civic engagement. The Program Coordinator develops and implements evaluation mechanisms.
