Sunrise is a movement to stop climate change and create millions of good jobs in the process.
Last February, we brought 150 middle and high schoolers to Washington DC to call on our senators to take action on the climate crisis and stand up for our futures. Now, a year later, a lot has changed, but Sunrise is still committed to supporting our youngest members of the movement and showing the world what teenagers can do.
We need folks creating support spaces for middle and high schoolers, building programs, and getting creative with organizing in schools. That’s why we’re hiring new support organizers to lead this work forward, who embody our values and share our goals to nurture and grow middle and high school leaders.
Could you be this person? Do you have experience organizing middle or high schoolers, have capacity to work full time, and are dedicated to building power? If so, you should check out this job description by clicking here and submit your application.
