WE ARE CURRENTLY SEEKING PASSIONATE AND TALENTED STUDENTS TO PARTICIPATE IN OUR REMOTE FALL 2021 INTERNSHIP PROGRAM.
The Years Project is a 501c(3) nonprofit, Emmy award-winning television and digital media company focused on educating and engaging audiences to take action on climate change.
Remote interns carry duties including, but not limited to:
- Scanning and processing of daily climate news and information
- Monitoring climate content on social platforms
- Copywriting and editing
- Transcribing video footage
- Collaborating in production process in writer’s rooms
- Digital maintenance and upkeep
- Author blog posts
- Assisting with graphic design and media
The Years Project is a group of storytellers. And we know that every community has its own stories to tell–stories that are unique to their experience and point of view. That’s why it’s vital that we build a diverse workforce to help tell them. We strongly encourage applications across the spectrum of human experience and background. You must be an undergraduate student seeking a degree in one of the following disciplines: Communications, Journalism, Environmental Studies or Radio/Television/Video/Film/Digital Media with genuine interest in our work. This internship is currently unpaid. You must be eligible to receive college credit for this position. This internship program will be held fully online.
