AYUDH (Amrita Youth for Unity, Diversity, and Harmony) is an international humanitarian youth organization that is a vital part of Embracing the World, a global network of charitable projects based on the initiatives of Amma, a spiritual leader and world renowned humanitarian. It entails four primary pillars: social service, green initiatives, personal empowerment, and intercultural exchange. AYUDH aims to fulfill these pillars and related initiatives through service projects, discussions of religious, social, and cultural topics, interactive learning workshops, guided meditation, and events that restore our natural world.
AYUDH shares a relationship with the United Nations in which they have collectively pledged to accomplish 17 sustainable development goals (SDG) by the year 2030. AYUDH Americas also holds an annual youth summit called “The Ripple Effect” in Chicago, Illinois that is focused on personal empowerment and encourages members to voice their ideas and contribute to developing initiatives that can help meet the SDGs.
