I am in my eighth year as the Assistant Director of the Center for Civic Engagement at Drew University. In this role I support the Drew Civic Scholars program, a four-year progressive academic program for 140 students who show extraordinary commitment to community service. I develop and steward long-term partnerships with community organizations to provide volunteer, internship, and service learning opportunities for our students, faculty and staff. Prior to this position I held two others at Drew, beginning in 2001, and former administrative posts at MIT and Harvard Business School. I hold a B.A. in History and an M.A. in History with a Certificate in Archival Management from the University of Connecticut. I am also a puppy raiser for The Seeing Eye, an organization that provides guide dogs for the visually impaired.
