About the Panel

The Launch Community Panel Series is part of our virtual Fall 2020 Launch Expo. We’ve designed these panels to engage current Drew students with success stories from Drew alums, local employers, and other students in their communities. This panel focused on the Arts, Communications, and Languages Career Community and was held on September 3, 2020.

Meet the Panelists

Shayna Miller C’19


Shayna Miller’s work explores her relationship to mysticism and the body, as well as the process as ritual through painting and sculpture. Her work is held by numerous private collections and Drew University.

Damon DiMarco C’82

Writer, Actor, Playwright, Screenwriter

Damon DiMarco has authored or co-authored nine non-fiction books with boutique, mid-sized, and Big Five publishers. He’s also written four plays, plus several screenplays and television pilots.

Kim Ammiano C’13

Associate Producer, CBS Evening News

Kim Ammiano is a broadcast journalist with experience in both print and network news. She has worked at The Daily Record newspaper, as well as HuffPost Live, Spectrum News’ NY1, and Fox Business Network.

Trevor Weston

Professor and Chair, Drew Music Department

Dr. Trevor Weston is the Chair of the Drew Music Department. His work has been commissioned by Carnegie Hall and the Boston Landmarks Orchestra, and he has written for the Cambridge Companion to Duke Ellington.

Adam Vidiksis C’00

Assistant Professor of Music Technology and Composition, Temple University

Dr. Adam Vidiksis is a composer, conductor, percussionist, improviser, and technologist based in Philadelphia whose music often explores social structures, science, and the intersection of humankind with the machines we build.
