About the Panel

The Launch Community Panel Series is part of our virtual Fall 2020 Launch Expo. We’ve designed these panels to engage current Drew students with success stories from Drew alums, local employers, and other students in their communities. This panel focused on the International Opportunities Career Community and was held on September 15, 2020.

Meet the Panelists

Eric Reid

Senior U.S. Manager (University Partners)

Eric Reid’s role as a nationally-focused manager, for INTO University Partnerships, involves working with top US and UK universities to diversify and expand international student bodies, forming long-term partnerships which expand opportunities for students and raise the profile of partner universities globally.

Andrew Bishop

2014-2016 Teaching Fellow, Teach For China

Andrew graduated from Drew University in 2014 with a degree in Political Science and Chinese Studies. He received a Master of Public Policy from the University of Virginia Frank Batten School of Leadership and Public Policy, and studied at Sichuan University on a US Department of State Critical Language Scholarship.

Leah Wondera

Founder and Director at Mama’s Smile Health Foundation

Leah was raised in Kenya, in East Africa and received her B.S. in Project Planning and Management in 2016, from Moi University in Kenya. During her studies and  after graduating she worked in project management for many companies  but found herself always drawn to social justice issues.

Marianna Goncalves Severgnini

Recent Economics Graduate at Drew University

Marianna graduated from Drew University in 2018 with a Bachelors of Economics. She previously studied at the County College of Morris and QI Escolas e Faculdades and has an academic background in business administration and marketing. She currently works as an English Language Assistant at Istituto Tecnico Economico Enrico Tosi in Milan, Italy.

Delaney Redford

Drew University, Class of 2022, International Relations

Delaney is a Drew University Civic Scholar majoring in International Relations and minoring in Law, Justice, and Society. She is the President of Alpha Phi Omega, Co-Deputy General of the Drew Collegiate Model United Nations, board member of the Drew Honduras Project, and a member of the Drew Women’s Rugby Team.
